A Web-based online beneficiary eligibility service is not available at Palmetto GBA at this time. However, we are working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to get approval to provide this and other secure provider services online.

To access Medicare patient eligibility information, providers may:

• Contact our Part B Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system at (866) 931-3903 for patient eligibility, claim status, order requests for the Standard Provider Remittance (SPR) or other general information. View the Part B IVR Job Aids (PDF, 188 KB) for assistance in using the IVR system.
• Use the ANSI 270/271 Beneficiary Eligibility Inquiry transaction at the CMS data center
