An Orthotic Fitter, Orthotist, Prosthetist or Prosthetist-Orthotist licensed individual on staff; these licenses are renewable every two years and are issued by the FL Board of Orthotists & Prosthetists, FL Dept of Health, (850) 245-4355.
Pedorthotist License is acceptable as long as the orthosis is below the ankle (and foot). Anything above the ankle is outside the scope of a Pedorthotist and would require an orthotist license. |
