The Drug Lookup and Calculator Tool was created to help providers submit the correct number of 'units' on their claims by calculating and converting the dosage administered to the patient. As a bonus, it will also display the most current Maximum Allowed Units (MAUs) assigned to the drug.
- Simply key a drug code and click the 'Find' button
- The next screen will display a short description and dosage assigned to the code
- Key the dosage administered then click the 'Process' button
- The next screen will display the quantity to submit on the claim, the MAU assigned to the code, and any special instructions that apply
