Palmetto GBA has expanded Railroad Medicare telephone hours to better serve health care providers in all geographic time zones.
When and How to Reach Us
- Customer Service Representatives are available through the CSR line at (888) 355-9165 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in all time zones with the exception of PST, which receives service from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST
- The Interactive Voice Response line, which provides information regarding beneficiary eligibility and claim status, will continue to be available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST at (877) 288-7600
- Requests to reopen an initial claim to correct minor errors or omissions can be made by contacting our reopening line at (866) 324-3073 between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in all time zones except PST, which receives service from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST
- Provider enrollment staff is here to assist you with updating your Medicare information; add/delete new members to your provider group; and verify if you are enrolled with Railroad Medicare. Representatives are available at (866) 899-5227 between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in all time zones except PST, which receives service from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST.
