Alternative laboratory platform testing
Guidelines/Instructions:
- Submit CPT modifier 92 to indicate that laboratory testing was performed using a kit or transportable instrument that wholly or in part consists of a single use, disposable analytical chamber.
- This modifier may be submitted with CPT codes 86701-86703 (HIV testing).
