Palmetto GBA experienced a payment cycle delay for all Part A providers in SC as well as all home health and hospice providers serviced by Palmetto GBA. All payments, including Periodic Interim Payments (PIP) and Passthrough, scheduled to pay Friday, October 9, 2009, did not pay as scheduled.
The system problem was corrected late Friday, October 9, 2009. Since Monday, October 12, 2009, is a federal holiday, we expect most providers should receive their electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Depending on your bank schedule, it may be Wednesday, October 14, 2009, before EFT payments are available. Please check with your bank for EFT availability. Hardcopy checks, for those providers who receive them, were mailed Friday afternoon.
Payments regularly scheduled to pay on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, will pay as scheduled. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this payment delay.
