When submitting refunds or request for refunds when Medicare is the Secondary Payer (MSP), be sure to include the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from the Primary Payer. Submitting the EOB with your request allows for more efficient claim adjustments and enables accurate system updates, if applicable. If you do not have an EOB, any documentation from the Primary Payer and/or Liability Payer confirming their responsibility or payment is acceptable.
