Palmetto GBA will begin using the Enterprise Data Center (EDC) effective 1/13/2009 for the South Carolina Part B contract. Security changes are being implemented which will affect the GPNET Online Inquiry User ID you use to access Claims Status Inquiry (CSI).

Login Instructions:
After completing the MCS Clerk ID Login, the new “Multi-Carrier System Clerk Password Verification” screen will display. Enter the initial default password. You will be immediately directed to a password reset screen. (This will also happen each time your password expires.) Passwords must comply with the following standards:
- Be at least eight characters with no embedded spaces
- Have at least one upper case letter
- Have at least one lower case letter
- Have at least one number
- Have at least one special character
- Cannot be the same as the last six generations
Important Note:
As a reminder, Clerk IDs are assigned to individuals – not entities – and can not be reassigned to another individual within your company or agency. When an employee who has been assigned a Clerk ID leaves a company, it is the responsibility of the provider to notify the

Center at 1-866-749-4301 to delete the ID.
The system requires that passwords be changed at least every 30 days. However, passwords cannot be changed more than once in a 24-hour period.
