E/M Code Comparisons
The Acrobat Reader files below provide aggregate data for Evaluation and Management (E/M) services submitted to Palmetto GBA compared with national averages. The data are based on reports provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and reflect six-month timeframes for January 2006 - June 2007.
Within these files, there are separate sections for various specialties. E/M codes are grouped by 'type' (e.g., subsequent office visits), and information is available for the entire grouping as well as individual CPT codes.
