Get Your First-Level Appeal Letters Delivered Electronically

Published 03/12/2024

Palmetto GBA offers an eDelivery option for receiving your redetermination decision letters electronically.

Imagine getting your Medicare redetermination notices (MRNs) the same day that they are issued, delivered directly to your computer. You can even choose to get an email to let you know that the letter is waiting for you. How convenient is that?

To start receiving your Medicare redetermination letters electronically, you must be signed up for our eServices tool. Once you have signed into eServices, and selected Admin, you can choose your eDelivery preferences. Just choose eDelivery of your MRN letters to start receiving your redetermination decision letters through eServices. You can also select "User Email Notification" to start receiving emails when your MRN letters are available for you. Every choice is easy and user-friendly.

Once you have chosen the eDelivery option, all of your MRNs will come to you electronically, even if you sent in your appeal request via fax or mail.

To view the MRNs that have been completed, just sign in to eServices and select the Messages tab. Click on the DCN for the letter you wish to view. The letter will be brought up on your computer screen in a PDF format.

If you have not already signed up for eServices, now is the perfect time to do so. You will love the convenience of sending requests electronically and having responses available to you at the touch of a button. No more printing and mailing your request forms. No more fighting with the fax machine. No more worries that mailed documents did not reach the contractor. Everything that you need is right at your fingertips.

If you have questions about eServices, please call our Provider Contact Center at 855–696–0705 for Jurisdiction M or 877–567–7271 for Jurisdiction J. The representatives will be more than happy to walk you through all of the possibilities.
