Overpayment Demand Letters Available in eServices

Published 01/04/2021

Palmetto GBA is pleased to offer secure and fast delivery of HIGLAS (Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System)-generated overpayment demand letters through Palmetto GBA’s eServices self-service portal.

All providers who are enrolled in eServices will receive both hard-copy demand letters and electronic copies through June 30, 2018. Providers have until June 30, 2018, to update their eServices profile if you choose to opt out of electronic delivery of these letters. After June 30, 2018, providers who have not opted out will receive only the electronic letter copy.

Once a demand letter is posted, you will see a message that states: "You have (a number will be shown here) unread message(s) and (a number) of alerts" near the top of the screen. Select the number shown, and a list of all unread messages or alerts will appear. For additional instructions, please see the eServices User Guide (PDF, 8.25 MB).

If you are not registered for eServices, but would like to receive letters electronically, you can sign up at www.PalmettoGBA.com/eServices. eServices offers a number of other features, such as the ability to submit payments electronically, view and print remittances, check the status of a claim, access to beneficiary eligibility information, file Appeals, Reopenings or General Inquiry requests, and receive and respond to Medical Review Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs).

To register for GreenMail, log on to eServices select the Admin tab, and then the eDelivery Preferences sub tab. A list of eDelivery options will be available to you. This page lets you select electronic demand letters, as well as other correspondence available through eServices. From there, pick eDelivery instead of US Mail.
