Palmetto GBA, along with CGS Administrators, National Government Services, Noridian Healthcare Solutions, and WPS Government Health Administrators, hosted a Multi-Jurisdictional Contractor Advisory Committee (CAC) Meeting via teleconference on January 5, 2023, which is for Micro-Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS).

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) assigned Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) the task of developing Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs). The purpose of the CAC meeting is to provide a formal mechanism for healthcare professionals to be informed of the evidence used in developing an LCD and promote communications between the MACs and the health care community. The CAC panel will discuss the clinical literature related to Micro-Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) and rate their confidence in a series of key questions. Discussions will occur between CAC panelists and Contractor Medical Directors. The public may attend; however, questions from the public will not be entertained.

The meeting agenda, key questions, bibliography, recording and transcript are listed below:
