How do I change my password?

Published 03/13/2024

Answer
Click on the "Forgot Your Password?" link from the returning user box of the eServices introduction screen. Enter your user ID and click submit. If your user ID was entered correctly, you will receive an email with a link to answer your security questions. You must answer both questions correctly to reset your password. If you answered the questions correctly you will receive a message stating that your password has been reset and an email will be sent containing your temporary password. Return to the login screen and log in with the temporary password from your email. After logging in with the temporary password, you will be prompted to create a new password. You will then be redirected to the login screen to log in with your new password.

If you want to update or verify your security questions and answers or email address, you can do so through your My Account tab once you are logged in.

Keep in mind that if you attempt to log in incorrectly three times within a 120 minute period, you will be locked out of eServices. To unlock your account, you must contact your provider administrator. Your provider administrator will be able to unlock you. If you are the only provider administrator on the account, you must call your Medicare contractor to verify your identity and regain access.

Note: You cannot change your password more than once every 24-hour period.

Please refer to section 2.2 of the eServices User Manual (PDF) for additional information about creating a password.
