How are suppliers chosen to revalidate?


Answer:
Suppliers are required to revalidate (formerly re-enroll) every three years. Beginning Fall 2016, CMS now selects and establishes due dates by which providers and suppliers are required to revalidate. CMS created a lookup tool on cms.gov posting the due dates online for providers and suppliers to review. The supplier will receive a revalidation letter prompting them to update information in the Internet-based PECOS system.
