I am trying to register for eServices but I do not see my state in the Line of Business list. Why aren't all states listed?

Answer:
eServices is available for:

  • Part A and Part B providers who practice in the states of AL, GA, NC, SC, TN, VA and WV
  • Home Health and Hospice providers who practice in the 16 states included in the HHH MAC
  • Railroad Medicare providers nationwide

If you are trying to register for eServices to access information for Railroad Medicare patients and claims, choose Railroad Specialty Medicare Administrative Contractor (RRB SMAC) from the Line of Business list, regardless of what state you practice in. If you are an AL, GA, NC, SC, TN, VA or WV provider and you want to access information for both Part B and Railroad Medicare claims, you must register separately for each line of business. Also, if you are an AL, GA, NC, SC or TN provider and you want to access information for both Part A and HHH claims, you must register separately for each line of business.

HHH MAC covers the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
