For all bill types except 83X: Line item date of service must be a valid day and within the from and thru dates of the claim. Exception: On HH PPS RAP’s (bill types 322 and 332), the line item date of service must be within the episode period (from date plus 59 days).
Explanation and Suggestion
Reason code 32907 indicates a line item date of service falls outside of the 'FROM' and 'TO' dates billed on the claim. Verify the line items submitted on claims fall within the 'FROM' and 'TO' dates on the claim.
HH PPS RAP’s (bill types 322 and 332): Since there is only one date entered in the 'FROM' and 'TO' field on the claim, the line item date of service must be within the episode period (from date plus 59 days).
