Adjustments are not allowed on a Requests for Anticipated Payment (RAP) (bill type 322 or 332).
Explanation and Suggestion
The home health RAP cannot be adjusted (3X7 bill type). A RAP can only be cancelled (3X8 bill type). Condition codes D5 and D6 are the only available condition codes for cancel claims. Providers should include the reason for the cancelation on the remarks screen. Once the cancelled RAP has processed, the provider may resubmit a corrected RAP if desired.
