Current Status Date  
Update March 18, 2021 Status: CMS is aware that Reason Codes 36136 and 36381 are assigning incorrectly. Fixes are being worked on but no implementation date has been determined at this time.
Provider Action: No action is necessary. Palmetto GBA is releasing suspended claims daily. This action will continue until these claims do not receive further edit and resolve. We will continue this process until the fix is implemented in April 2021.
Update February 25, 2021 Status: CMS is aware that Reason Codes 36136 and 36381 are assigning incorrectly. Fixes are being worked on but no implementation date has been determined at this time.
Provider Action: No action is necessary. Palmetto GBA will release applicable claims for processing after the system fixes are implemented.<
Initial February 18, 2021 Status: CMS is aware of this issue and claims will suspend until a fix is implemented. There is no estimated time frame for a resolution.
Provider Action:  No action is necessary. There is no need for providers to contact the provider contact center (PCC) regarding this matter.
Identified November 16, 2020 Issue 
Therapy codes on outpatient claims are incorrectly assigning reason codes 36136 and 36381. Claims are being suspended until the issues are resolved.
