COVID-19 Medicare Guidance Provided by Other Entities

During the current public health emergency, Medicare guidance is fluid and subject to modification by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). To this end, providers are reminded that the CMS and Palmetto GBA Medicare Administrative Contractor websites are the only official resources for COVID-19 Medicare billing and coverage guidelines. While other entities, including other Medicare Administrative Contractors, may produce information to assist their members and providers, Palmetto GBA will not proof, verify, research, vet or otherwise address contradictions to any information created, provided or published by any other entity.
