E/M Weekly Tip: Review of Systems - 'All Others Negative'

It is acceptable to use the statements "All others negative" and "No other complaints" as long as the pertinent systems, symptoms, and/or problems were addressed and documented.

• We cannot use information twice, i.e., documentation under the history of present illness (HPI)
• Considered a "complete (10 or more)" ROS
• Avoid using statements like "10 systems negative" or "12 systems negative"
