How Do I Check the Status of a Claim?
There are three ways to check the status of a Railroad Medicare claim.
You can use our free online portal, MyRRMed. MyRRMed lets you see the status and decisions of the Part B claims we have on file for you. You can access MyRRMed by clicking on the MyRRMed Portal banner on the main page of this website.
You can call our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. If you’d like to use the IVR, you can do so by calling 800–833–4455. From the main menu, press one (1) for claim status. You will need your Railroad Medicare number, date of birth, name, and date of service for the claim you are searching for. Claim status is available Monday thru Friday from 7 a.m. through 11 p.m. ET.
You can call our Beneficiary Contact Center at 800-833-4455 and speak with a Customer Service Representative (CSR). We are available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. Simply press zero (0) at any time to speak with a CSR. For the hearing impaired, call our TTY/TDD at 877–566–3572 during the same hours when CSRs are available.
